Overview
The elegantly restored Leland Stanford Mansion State Historic Park o opens to the public over the weekend of Friday, September 9th, through Sunday, September 11th, 2005. The grand opening will highlight a citywide festival of history called Eureka! Admission Day Weekend. The Mansion and all the State Historic Parks in Sacramento will offer free admission throughout this opening weekend.

Exhibits/Programs
Opens September 9, 2005. The newly-built Visitor Center adjacent to the Mansion is accessible.
The Mansion has elevator and lift access. Interior openings to the 2nd and 3rd floors from the elevator are about 29.5 inches wide. A travel wheelchair and assistive listening systems are available. Visitor Center videos offer Spanish or English captions. Alternative format materials include a tactile model that can be assembled.
