Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park

Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park is a quiet place to camp and picnic in a scenic stand of redwoods along the Van Duzen River. It is located off route 101 southeast of Eureka at 16949 Highway 36 in Carlotta. Phone 707-777-3683.

Two campsites designated accessible are paved and generally accessible but may require assistance at tent areas. Other sites may be usable. Restroom with Shower: Toilet in designated accessible restroom adjacent to site 13 permits front transfers. Assistance may be required reaching controls from folding shower bench. Routes of travel from accessible sites to restrooms may require some assistance with slopes near entry.

Picnic Area
The Grizzly Creek picnic area has three large picnic tables that are usable. Water and trash facilities may require assistance. Restrooms. Generally accessible restrooms are provided nearby in the campground. Parking. One designated accessible auto parking space is available adjacent to the picnic area. Route of travel from the parking area is usable.

A small visitor center is generally accessible when it is open. Wheelchair users may require assistance with ramp slopes. Parking: A designated accessible parking space is available nearby.
