The Moonstone Boardwalk is an ‘out-and-back’ accessible trail that is 0.96 miles each way. The accessible section is between the boat ramp near Leffingwell Landing and the entrance road to the Santa Rosa day use area. The surface is wood. The trail is generally flat at less than 5% slopes with intermittent sections between 5% to 10%. There are several benches with companion space adjacent and interpretive signage along the boardwalk with a few spurs to steps to the beach below.
The San Simeon Trail is an ‘out-and-back’ generally accessible trail that is 0.6 miles each way.
The Elephant Seal Boardwalk/Trail is an ‘out-and-back generally accessible boardwalk/trail that is 0.4 miles each way. The boardwalk/trail provides viewing of the elephant seals on the beach below..
