Bolsa Chica State Beach extends three miles from Seal Beach to Huntington Beach City Pier. A bikeway connects it with Huntington State Beach, seven miles south. It is located near Costa Mesa along the Pacific Coast Highway between Golden West and Warner Avenues. Accessible picnic sites are located along beach area near accessible snack bar.
The accessible Multi-Use Beachfront Trail extends 1.0 mile along the shore. It is a popular paved trail used by hikers, bikers and roller skate/blade users. Entry and accessible parking is from any day use lot. Accessible restroom and drinking water are located at the entrance station.
Bolsa Chica has two wide paved pathways that extend across the surface of the beach to near the high tide line. These pathways are adjacent to parking lots #17 and 18, but can be accessed from anywhere along the multiuse trail that runs the length of the park. A beach wheelchair is available.
