Doheny State Beach offers camping in the southern area and day use in the northern area. The beach is a mile north of Interstate 5 at 25300 Dana Point Harbor Drive.

Accessible campsites are available. Restrooms with showers are accessible. Accessible parking is available adjacent to the restrooms. The campfire center is accessible.
The North Day Use Area: Accessible picnic sites are available in the Promenade and group picnic areas. Accessible restrooms and parking spaces are nearby.
The Beach Promenade Trail is a 1.3 mile concrete promenade that meanders through the park offering great access to multiple day use activities such as picnicking and beach side walking. Accessible parking and restroom facilities are available.
Several beach wheelchairs are available. Call (949) 496-6162 or (949) 496-6172 for more information. A wooden boardwalk extends from near the North picnic area about halfway across the beach. Accessible outdoor rinsing showers are available at various locations along the beach.
Visitor Center: Located just south of the entrance station, the visitor center/aquarium structure is generally accessible, as are many of the exhibits. Assistance may be needed and is available to reach some items.
