Bethany Reservoir State Recreation Area

Overview
Located in the northernmost part of the San Joaquin Valley, Bethany Reservoir State Recreation Area is a popular place for water-oriented recreation. The park is seven miles off Interstate 580 at the Grant Line Road exit. For information phone the sector office at 209-532-0150 weekdays from 8:00 to 4:30.

Picnic Area
A day use picnic area has an accessible table located on a paved pad beneath a shade structure. A portable restroom is generally accessible. Accessible parking is available. Additional tables, accessible parking and generally accessible no flush restrooms are near the boat launch.

Fishing
Two fishing platforms, one at the Upper resevoir, and the other at the Lower part, are accessible. Accessible parking is available. The path to the boat launch is now accessible,and the boat launch will be made accessible by the Department of Boating and Waterways in the future.
