Bothe-Napa Valley State Park

Located in the heart of Napa Valley Wine Country, Bothe-Napa Valley State Park offers a variety of outdoor activities in a convenient touring location. The park is about halfway between Calistoga and Saint Helena on Highways 29/128. Phone (707) 942-4575 for more information.

Within the Ritchey Creek Campground, campsites 9, 37 and 42 are accessible. Generally accessible restrooms with showers are near all accessible sites. The campground has spacious roll-in showers with upper and lower shower heads, but controls are opposite the folding bench, so assistance may be needed to reach them. As an alternative, newer accessible restrooms with showers whose controls are on the wall adjacent to the folding bench are located a short drive away in the picnic area, and accessible parking is available.

Picnic Area
The day use picnic area includes 9 accessibly located and designed sites. An adjacent restroom with showers is accessible. The picnic area opposite the restroom has a shaded Ramada that is available for reservation for group use with accessible tables nearby.

The History Trail Cemetery Loop is a 0.29 mile accessible trail near the Pioneer Cemetery. The trail starts from the day-use area at the southeast end of the park. The accessible trail includes the beginning of the History Trail to and including the loop around the Pioneer Cemetery. The accessible trail is a loop that offers great views and interpretive opportunities of the Pioneer Cemetery and foundations of the White Church. Accessible parking is available at the day-use parking lot near the trailhead. The trail is constructed of compacted aggregate that is usable year-round.

Campfire Center: A redesigned campfire center includes accessible seating and presentation area.
