The Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District and the Napa Valley State Parks Association took over operation of Bothe-Napa Valley State Park and the adjacent Bale Grist Mill State Historic Park on April 1, 2012. No State services or staff are available.
Located in the heart of Napa Valley Wine Country, Bothe-Napa Valley State Park offers a variety of outdoor activities in a convenient touring location. The park is about halfway between Calistoga and Saint Helena on Highways 29/128. Phone (707) 942-4575 for more information.
Within the Ritchey Creek Campground, campsites #9, #37, and #42 are accessible. Accessible restrooms with showers are nearby.
Nine accessible picnic sites are dispersed throughout the day-use picnic area. An accessible restroom building with showers is available in the picnic area. Also within the picnic area, a shaded Ramada for larger groups is accessible. Use of the Ramada is subject to reservation.
The History Trail – Cemetery Loop is a 0.29 mile accessible loop trail near the Pioneer Cemetery. The trail starts from the day-use area at the southeast end of the park. The accessible trail includes the beginning of the History Trail to and including the loop around the Pioneer Cemetery. The accessible trail is a loop that offers great views and interpretive opportunities of the Pioneer Cemetery and foundations of the White Church. The trail is constructed of compacted aggregate that is usable year-round. There are two armored crossings on the trail that water flows over the trail during rain events that might be challenging for some users. The trail is generally flat at less than 5% slopes with intermittent sections between 5% to 8%. Accessible parking is available at the day-use parking lot near the trailhead.

Campfire Center: A redesigned campfire center includes accessible seating and presentation area.
Visitor Center: The visitor center displays plants, implements, ceremonial artifacts, and baskets made or used by the Wappo. Historic photos of the park's earlier uses, including the popular Paradise Park era, are displayed and interpretive materials and local guidebooks are available for sale. Parking, route into the visitor center, and restroom within are accessible.
Swimming Pool: A pool is open during the summer months. A pool lift has been installed to enhance swimming access. Accessible parking is nearby. Accessible restroom and showers are within 200 feet of the pool at the picnic area.
