Salt Point State Park

Salt Point State Park features over six miles of rugged coastline with rocky promontories, pounding surf, and multiple panoramic views. It is located on Highway One, about 30 very winding miles north of Jenner and 90 miles north of San Francisco. Phone (707) 847-3221 for more information.

Gerstle Cove Campground: Three campsites (#7, #8, and #24) are accessible including tables, fire ring and water spigots. Parking, route, and restroom near site #8 is accessible.

Woodside Campground: Three campsites (#56, #59, and #98) are generally accessible. The restroom building near site #98 is accessible.

Picnic Area
Gerstle Cove Day-Use Area: Three accessible tables are provided overlooking Gerstle Cove. Parking, routes, and restroom are accessible. A fish cleaning station is also provided.

The Salt Point Trail is a 0.46 mile accessible loop trail from the Gerstle Cove day-use parking area. This loop trail offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean as it hugs the rugged coastline of Northern Sonoma County. The surface is asphalt and compacted soil. The trail is generally flat at less than 5% slopes with intermittent sections between 5% to 8%. Accessible parking and restroom are provided at the day-use area.
